As the number of campus residents continues to grow, the benefits of using alternative methods of transportation increase. Bicycle rules and regulations are in place in order to maintain a safe cycling environment.

May is National Bike Month
Celebrate National Bike Month by riding your bike for fun, for exercise, and to help reduce campus traffic and emissions. Receive a $25 Jax Bicycle Center discount coupon and the chance to win various prizes by registering to ride.

New Metrolink Bicycle Cars
In response to the growing demand from cyclists for additional bicycle storage space on trains, Metrolink has introduced special bicycle cars. These bicycle cars provide a user-friendly experience for cyclists who ride their bikes to and from a Metrolink station, and are specially designed to hold up to 18 bicycles on the lower level. No bike permits are needed.

Monthly Bike Fair
The monthly Bike Fair will reopen after the holiday break, on Wednesday, January 25 from 2pm to 5pm. The salvage yard is located adjacent to lot 90 and is open to the public during this event. Sorted piles of bikes and parts will be available for salvage free of cost. Bring your own tools. Whole bikes will also be available for purchase for $15-40.
